Senior HR Business Partner

London, UK

About the Company

We're partnering with a leading global investment firm to find a Senior HR Business Partner to sit at the strategic and coaching heart of its London business. This is a genuine thought-partner role, one for someone who wants to be close to the business, trusted by senior leaders, and visibly present for the wider team.

About the Role

  • Acting as a genuine strategic thought partner to senior executives - sitting down with business leaders to talk through how they build, grow and structure their teams over a 5–10 year horizon as the business scales assets

  • Owning programme and succession-planning conversations, helping ensure teams are set up for sustainable growth

  • Being visibly present "on the ground", acting as a trusted, confided-in presence who can read the room on engagement, flight risk and morale.

  • Building trust and credibility with a senior, sophisticated stakeholder group who want someone they can genuinely confide in and lean on

  • Working closely alongside an established People Operations team on the operational spine (employee relations, onboarding, lifecycle and hiring) while you focus on the strategic and coaching layer

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience in a Human Capital Business Partner role within financial services (Private Markets preferred).

  • Ability to influence, lead and guide senior executives in a fast-paced, high stakes environment

  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a matrixed, global organisation.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.

  • Outstanding attention to detail.

  • Highly detail-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
